Power stage

The power stage consists of half bridge or full bridge inverter driving the primary tank (LC) circuit of a wireless power transmitter. This stage operates to generate trapezoidal waveform at 50% duty cycle. This stage usually operates at a constant frequency, which is determined by the resonant frequency of the LC parallel resonant circuit.

Auxiliary power supply

Auxiliary power supply generally consists of a low voltage DC/DC converter for developing multiple non-isolated rails used to power various subsystems in the end equipment such as digital processor, gate drivers, and sensing circuits.
