Infineon AIROC™ CYW5551x brings beyond-standard Wi-Fi 6/6E performance and advanced Bluetooth connectivity to IoT applications

【Lansheng Technology News】Infineon Technologies AG recently announced the launch of AIROC CYW5551x Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.4 two-in-one solution, further expanding its AIROC™ product lineup. This versatile product family delivers secure, reliable, and beyond-standard 1x1 Wi-Fi 6/6E (802.11ax) connectivity as well as advanced ultra-low-power Bluetooth (BT) connectivity. The optimized dual-band Wi-Fi 6 solution CYW55512 and tri-band Wi-Fi 6/6E solution CYW55513 feature energy-saving designs and are suitable for smart homes, industry, wearable devices and other small IoT applications.

This new solution also supports the new 6 GHz frequency band of Wi-Fi 6E, which can effectively reduce latency and interference; Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) 5.4 that supports audio functions has greater signal coverage and lower power consumption , its transmit power is as high as 20 dBm. Other features include improved multi-layer security (PSA Level 1 certification), design diversity supported by an extensive ecosystem of modules and platform partners, and more. Like the rest of the AIROC CYW5551x family, these devices support multiple operating systems including Linux, RTOS and Android, and feature a fully proven Bluetooth protocol stack and sample code to speed development time.
