Both new products use through-hole HDIP30 packages, which reduce the surface mount area by approximately 21% compared to Toshiba's previous products. This also helps reduce the size of the motor drive circuit board.
Considering that the power supply voltage may fluctuate greatly in areas with unstable power supply, this new product also increases the voltage from 500V of Toshiba's previous products to 600V, improving reliability.
From now on, users can visit Toshiba's official website to obtain the "Inductive Brushless DC Motor Drive Circuit Reference Design". This reference design uses the new product TPD4164K and related functions of the TMPM374FWUG microcontroller with a vector control engine.
